The Co-Extrusion Difference

Co-extrusion technology bonds a UV-stabilised colour skin directly onto the uPVC core during the extrusion process. This is fundamentally different from post-extrusion painting or foiling.

Colour Retention

GBT co-extruded profiles retain their colour for 15+ years in Indian climatic conditions. The UV stabilisers in the outer skin prevent photo-oxidation and chalking.

Painted Profiles

Painted uPVC profiles rely on adhesion of a paint layer to the substrate. Over time, UV exposure, thermal cycling, and moisture cause delamination, chipping, and fading — often within 5–7 years.

For long-term value, co-extruded profiles offer a clear return on investment through reduced maintenance and replacement costs.
